IT all started with another bad day of fishing with one of my best friends I was visiting in Florida… Out of bait, totally frustrated, and wanting to catch a fish I was out of options… All I had left of the bait was some shrimp scrapes. It came to me, to come up with some sort of sachet bag that I could put the shrimp scrapes into. Then attach the bag to my hook in hopes I would finally catch a fish… I didn't. But!

The idea was born!

When we returned to his house feeling defeated... We started joking about how it would be so cool if we could create something that would work like the sachet bag did… Cause even though we didn’t catch a fish… The bag drew fish to my hook and saw how they really wanted what was in the bag; The shrimp scrapes… Joking about what we would call this fictitious new company if we ever did invent a new product, and tossing about many different names his wife yelled out, “Why not call it: DaBootyBait company”! We all loved boating and pirate themes so it just seemed to be a natural fit!

The DABOOTYBAITTM LLC was born!

On my return to Atlanta I started throwing together some ingredients and doing some testing… But didn't have much luck… Life had got in the way, and facing more surgeries from a bad car accident, and literally became homeless. The idea was shelved…. That was 3yrs ago… Picking up the pieces of my life and had moved to Florida (cost of living was much cheaper) I decided to pick back up the dream…

First thing I did was find a top Chemist to help me develop a product… After many tests and field trials the CHUMBOSSTM was born!

Being the father to an Autistic Son, have always said, “that if I ever started a company that it would be employed by as many special needs young adults as possible.” It is one of the driving forces behind bringing this new product to the market. Often times, special needs young adults are left out of the job market. Employers opt to overlook them which leaves them with little choices in life.
